Myah Jackson

Hi, I’m Myah! My journey into UX design was inspired by my frontline experience addressing user pain points in the financial industry. After graduating from Oregon State University’s UX Design program, I took the initiative to partner with my employer’s UX team, launching a case study to improve user experiences. Using real-world data, I analyzed insights, proposed solutions, and aligned them with our credit union’s mission.

I’m passionate about creating designs that make a meaningful impact. Feel free to explore my case studies and share your feedback—I’d love to hear from you at myah.m@outlook.com.

Insight to Impact

I utilized analytical tools like Tableau and Pega Systems to extract and analyze member feedback cases I had submitted throughout the past year.

Design Rooted in Data

At first, I believed I was solving solely for the member. This led me to conduct interviews with three key business units to gain deeper insights.

Solutions the Matter

Through this process, I’ve learned to apply research methods effectively to pinpoint exactly who I’m solving for and to focus on creating practical, actionable solutions without overcomplicating the approach.

Takeaways

I’ve learned that I don’t need to have all the answers; that’s the point of the process. What I need to focus on is my UX library of resources and trust in the UX design process.

What can I improve?

I’m continually seeking new opportunities and / or ways to enhance my work. Leave me a message!
